Tiny Tree Day Nursery in Leeds is an exceptional Nursery.
We are located just outside of Leeds City Centre in the Woodhouse area of North Leeds.
Our impressive nursery and secure outdoor space includes multiple outdoor play areas and a little woodland.
Our high standard of care allows us to be regarded as one of the best nurseries in Leeds.
We offer a stunning space with dedicated indoor and outdoor areas for children to learn, play and develop. Outdoor play is important to us. Our grounds allow for a stimulating and safe environment for all children attending the nursery.
Our spacious rooms are bright and very well resourced. The nursery is specially designed to promote learning and development within a nurturing and stimulating environment.
As well as catering for children aged 0 to 5, we have a fun, activity based Holiday Club. We open during all school holidays and are available to all children of school age.

Tiny Tree has four spacious and very well equipped rooms for children. The Baby Room, Toddler Room, Over 2s and Pre-school. In addition we have our own sensory room and other flexible use spaces.
We identify the things your child likes to do. We use this information to create activities and learning experiences which are engaging and fun.
When children are happy and relaxed their confidence grows. This enhances their ability to learn and develop into happy confident and caring individuals.
Our staff constantly role-model good behavior and encourage children to be kind and considerate.
There are spaces indoors and outside for the children to play. We offer lots of bright and engaging things to do and see, making children happy and entertained whenever they are here.
Outdoors also includes a covered play area for all weather experiences. Here, we provide comfortable places for children to create their own stories and play themes.
At Tiny Tree your child’s nursery days are filled with excitement, fun and laughter. There are many opportunities for children to explore a range of activities. We love messy play and role play as well as story time and jigsaws. The list of opportunities is only limited by their imagination which is infinite.

Babies - 0-12 months
The first days, weeks and months of nursery can be a challenging time for parents and babies alike. Here at Tiny Tree we understand this and have a system in place for ensuring a smooth transition. Each child is assigned a key worker, who will form a unique bond with your child to ease the transition. You key worker will be your primary contact at the nursery, ensuring the best possible start for everyone.
Toddlers - 13-24 months
As your babies grow into toddlers, they will transition to our 13-24 month age group at Tiny Tree. Learning and education is integrated into our activities, still leaving plenty of time for fun! Toddlers develop quickly in this age range. Taking this into account, we have a separate ‘Rising Two’s’ group, ensuring learning and development is age appropriate at all times.
Over Two's - 25-36 months
The Over Two’s offers the best in learning and development as your toddlers grow up. The transition to school is getting closer, so the 25-36 month age range is separated into two, via the Rising Threes group. This separation ensures that your children get the most appropriate environment for their development at all times.
Preschool 36 months +
Here at Tiny Tree our pre school provides all your children need for a smooth transition to school. The group is focused around preparing for the next steps and our relationships with local schools gives the best start in education.

MANAGER, TINY TREE LEEDS
“My name is Kim and I am the manager of Tiny Tree Day Nursery. I am a qualified Early Years teacher with a BA Honours degree in Childhood Youth and Early Years.
I pride myself on giving children the best possible start in life and I love to see them flourish and progress. I joined the nursery in 2014 as the deputy manager, and my commitment and expertise eventually led to my promotion as manager.
As a mother myself, I understand the precious nature of children and the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment. My team and I are dedicated to providing, a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters learning and education for all children in our care.”
Our Approach
We strive to provide the very best childcare in Leeds.
We are proud to have very experienced staff on site. Our team includes an early years teacher and a member of staff with early years professional status. In addition, a further six qualified graduates in Early Years. We also have a further three staff studying for early years degree level qualifications.
Our philosophy is to have continuous training for all staff. Almost all of our staff have at least an NVQ level 3 or above in childcare. Communication is key to our success. Team leader meetings take place daily, individual staff welfare meetings take place weekly and full staff meetings take place monthly.
In addition, the Manager is supernumerary, which means she is not included in child to staff ratios. Her role is to support everyone else in the setting and help develop best practice. Our Manager is ably supported by a Deputy Manager who is also supernumerary. This way we are constantly evaluating your child’s progress and tweaking what we do to maximize learning and development opportunities everyday.
Healthy Eating
Meals at Tiny Tree
We provide Breakfast, Lunch and High Tea. Fresh drinking water is available at all times. We have a qualified cook in our nursery who uses fresh ingredients to provide healthy food for the children.
The staff and children take part in food-based activities such as making salads, tuna pasta and pizzas. We also have a planter where we can grow vegetables and herbs. We incorporate foods from around the world into our menus and we review these regularly.
We offer a vegetarian option at all meal times and we cater for special dietary requirements such as milk/nut allergies and gluten free.
We have achieved the five star rating approved by the local environmental health agency. All of our nurseries have a five-star rating as approved by the Food Standards Agency. This is the highest rating that can be achieved.

Tiny Tree Day Nursery is a lovely setting both inside the nursery and outside the nursery with plenty of space for playing indoors and outdoors. All the rooms ranging from baby room to preschool base most of their playing around educational activities. My child always comes back from nursery very happy.

We want you to know what your costs will be and what help you are eligible for to help you pay them.
We’ll help you navigate the changing landscape of government help for childcare, helping you to understand what vouchers and funding are available. We can even help you with any funding application you’re eligible for!
There are a variety of attendance and payment options to meet everyone’s individual needs, whether full or part time.
Nappies and wipes are provided free for paid sessions and siblings get a 10% discount.

Catering for children from birth to 5 years, we are open each weekday, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, for 51 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays. We offer the following sessions:
Full Day: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Morning: 7.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.00pm – 6.00pm
